My daughter, Samanvi, started her Bharatanatyam journey with Guru Anusha in Fall 2023, and we feel so lucky to have found her. From day one, Anusha made my daughter feel comfortable stepping into this beautiful art form. She has been so thoughtful in guiding her, making sure she learns not just the steps, but also the discipline and grace that come with the dance. What I love most about Anusha is her patience and genuine care for the children. She takes the time to explain, encourage, and bring out the best in each of them. Along the way, she has also given the kids so many opportunities to perform, whether it’s at temples, community events, or cultural programs. Preparing kids for the stage, sometimes in just a couple of weeks, is no small task, but she does it with such dedication and passion.

We truly feel grateful to have Anusha as Samanvi’s guru. If you’re looking for someone who will not only teach Bharatanatyam but also nurture your child’s love for it, I can’t recommend her enough.

Dance class with Anusha aunty has been a wonderful experience. I’m so glad to be part of the Sthalam Dance community. Anusha aunty is a great teacher and is very committed to helping all her students exceed. I am always learning something new and improving during dance. In addition, I have made many close friends and coming to class is one of the best parts of my day.

My daughter is attending Ms. Anusha’s dance sessions since three years now at Sthalam school of dance. She not only teaches Bharatnatyam also focuses on the overall wellbeing of kids from their postures to the emotional balance. I really appreciate the way she inculcates tradition, dance and her ability to make every child shine.

Anusha is a truly wonderful teacher. She is incredibly patient and brings so much joy and energy to her classes, making them fun and engaging for the kids. One of the things we appreciate most is the personal attention she gives to each child—she really takes the time to understand their individual needs, moods and strengths.

My daughter started learning from Anusha when she was just 6 years old, and over the past two years, she has grown so much, both as a dancer and as a person. She's had the opportunity to perform more than eight times, which has boosted her confidence tremendously. Each year, we’ve seen her improve and develop a deeper love for dance. She absolutely loves going to class. We feel so grateful to have found her!
